I think it looks great. Very clean and pro... The only thing I am not sure about is that dark-greay background for the main content of a page...

Looks nice - but I'm a bit confused as to what the tagline "Feel it!" means?

    nice site just 2 things

1)i agree with retro64 on the dark gray being too dark, it may look better with a white or mustard-yellow-type of background color.

edit: shouldn't say look better, but it would be easier to read etc

    2) the "Feel It" tagline doesn't work IMO. A tagline should say something about your company or service/product.

I would have thought this was obvious. His company is also in to the facial tissue industry. How else do you think companies like Microsoft got so big? It's about the essentials.

Though, I have my doubts kleenex get's better with age.

Seriously, if you guys want to have fun with slogans, Ancientsoft is a great name to do that with. All the really old jokes are fair game.

And for some site thoughts. The thin-ness of the font on the game names seems odd. Not that the letters are thin, but parts of them "dissapear" into the backgronud because of the range of shading on them. A solid color, or less variance should clean that up. If you don't see what I mean, take a few steps away from your monitor, and try to read the game titles... something doesn't look right.

Uhm... yeah, I'm gonna have to go with the opposition to the slogan on this one. With a name like, "Ancientsoft" followed by the slogan, "Feel It!" I can't help but think some old grandpa is trying to molest someone. C'mon. Ancient. Soft. "Feel It!"

Not bad. I find it a tad on the busy side.. a lot of text all over. And a tad on the dark side. But overall pretty nice.

I like the general look of the page (colours, etc) but the text is quite rough. If you have the "15% off..." image in a larger size, you might want to look into resizing it in a way that will smooth the edges of the text a little. Right now it's too rough, imo. Also, the titles above the game images aren't uniform enough in colour (too many dark patches) making them somewhat hard to read.

The button highlighting colour would look much better as gold. (the current colour looks quite ugly)

I agree with the others about, "Feel it!" A better slogan might be something like, "Software you will treasure!"

I agree that it looks too busy. Have you thought about doing away entirely with the left hand sidebar?

it's looking better just 1 more thing i noticed

the text at the top "15% off when.." the effect on it hurts the readability and kind of makes it fade into the background, if it was solid yellow it would pop from the page and catch the eye a lot better

    Black and annoying.

PS Yes. I know that our one is black and boring as well.

Anyone else do not like the Black?

I myself like the black and I see my new theme nice but my taste is not necessarily the right one!!!

I much prefer the new design to your current home page. It looks very polished and professional.

Don't forget to link your screenshots to your information pages, though.

And I never even noticed the 15% offer when I first viewed your page (no, I'm not blind!). The style/colouring of the lettering somehow escaped the attentions of my eyeballs. Perhaps flat gold/yellow text with a bright white glow effect would be more effective?

I don't think the problem with black is about people liking it or not. The problem is with people feeling comfortable BUYING from a black-background site. I have read in a couple places that people are more likely to buy from a site with a white background.... Amazon, ebay, buy.com, and all the other major online stores use white.....

I've also thought about buying things from black websites... as in, it doesn't exactly make you want to jump at purchasing from that page. Any stats for that theory (other than the Amazon, etc example)?

it's starting to shape up nicely!

edit: about the dark background, I think I like it. but if you want to experiment with colors I hear the color purple is supposed to encourage people to spend

try maybe #4d177b it's still pretty dark and rich
