Default what would you like to see?

Just curious, what application would you like to see at a reasonable price? What things would people want to buy? Im just stuck for ideas on creating an application people would want. Is there something you like, but cant find it, or something thats out of your price range? (ie waay to expensive?)

    Thanks

How about a "Make Game" application. One where you just input a page description and it outputs the game. I could use one of those about now.

Heh, in my university days (that's less than a year ago ) we joked about the "report compiler", which takes the report about an assignment and generates the assignment. We never got to implement it though

I would like an "open" version of something like RealArcade - where it features free and indie games. It would collect lists of games using rss or something. You would be able to download and install the games from within the FreeArcade app. It could keep track of the games you have/play and also allow you to send money/feedback to the creators (that info would be in the rss/xml feed). In addition you could read and write reviews of the indie games in this app and it would send that back to some central server (or peer to peer) so you could read reviews of the games before you d/l them.

Most applications which go on to be successful usually started out as an "itch" to be scratched by the developer. It usually turns out that other people have the same itch and your software would be useful.

    So start scratching

Another tactic would be to look at download.com, etc and just browse through and see what catches your eye: maybe you'll spot an app which you think you can implement better.
