Yes, Uruguay is in south america. Near the south of south america, to be precise. So we're f***ing freezing in mid winter instead of laying down in a beach, as our central american brothers are probably doing

So that's where it goes when it's summer. The cold that is. You can keep it if you ask me ..

I'm from Venezuela, so I'm in South America, but my brother's girlfriend is originally from El Salvador, does that count?

Now that Bush is arriving, ask him to put a puppet like Batista or Pinochet then, so Venezuela is safe.

I don't appreciate the insinuation that my distaste for Chávez equals sympathy for Bush, let alone Pinochet.

Don't you have other developers whom to accuse of theft without evidence?

You see, if you organize a latin american pizza night it will finish with everybody throwing knives at each other.

(and no, that wouldn't be as cool as it sounds )

When I used to live in Brazil (25 years ago), the pizza was very unusual (compared to American pizza) - it was thin, with lots of cheese, olive oil, very little tomato sauce, and rarely had toppings.

Is that (still) the case in Latin America, or has the pizza become more 'American-ized'?

That's the most traditional pizza, yes. But toppings are the norm almost everywhere - there are lots of pizza deliveries that make the most bizarre and delicious pizzas (my favorites are pepperoni, champignon, and a thing called Palmito). I think there's Pizza Hut here, if that's what you mean by "Americanized"

I had pizza in Cuba with tuna and turtle on it. In France I accidentally ordered an otherwise "normal" pizza with a raw egg dropped in the center after it was taken out of the oven. I was told this was done on purpose.

Sorry for being off topic. It brought back a flood of pizza memories.

Yeah, I know it's not likely to happen. That's why I was asking for somebody from Central America but nobody turned up. Nevermind I just had pizza with my family.

    What, aren't free pizzas enough?

Some girls are pretty, maybe not as pretty as in Argentina, and most definitely not as pretty as in Sweden

Ignoring the racist/historical implications, yes Most (~90%) of us in Uruguay are grandchildren of immigrants from italy and spain, so there's a big proportion of people with dark hair and dark eyes. Of course there are some awesome brunettes but I have a weakness for blue/green eyes

The same for Argentina ... but I'm from Entre Rios and here there are several german colonies, so blondes were a common thing (they looks for darkish mens so u maybe could be interesting in visit Crespo, Hasencamp o Diamante) ... anyway I think that aryans are not the best (don't have the fire inside), the "mix is the key for an exotics sample ...
