I use paypal as a secondary purchasing option (after eSellerate). I don't get tons of people using paypal, but it does get used. I think it is valuable to have because some people who already have paypal accounts are more free spending their paypal money, since it isn't 'real' yet. Also, if esellerate was ever down, or people had problems with it (this happened once) paypal is there as a back-up. Lastly, paypal's rates are less than esellerate's. I have actually considered making paypal my primary purchase system because of this, but I still have to investigate setting up an automated system for it (which esellerate does automatically).
