Question An Indie game news website.

Hello my name is Thomas. I have been working on a website for weeks now and it is nearing completion. I would just like to run through it now and possibly get some feedback. I will not mention any website address' etc. at this moment in time for privacy reasons.

It is a news/game publicity website based around the Independent development of video games. It focuses on promoting Indie games and there developers. Indie games and there developers will have their own dedicated info page displaying they’re details. Also every game that is featured on the site is categorised into organised lists for people to search and find.

If an Indie developer wants some publicity for a game they can contact us and have the game promoted maybe on the homepage or on a featured side bar. They will have a dedicated information page created with direct links to the download. The whole aim is to give Indie games a kick-start.

Also the website will feature news that supports Indie development and its promotion. The news will primarily feature gaming and technology related subjects. People like me are always looking for new games to play and this where to find them with a regularly updated list.

This websites primary goal is to help the indie community.

Thank you for reading. Feedback is appreciated.

How can we give feedback if you aren't giving us a URL? Or you just want feedback on the idea itself? Baring in mind that the idea is nothing special and has already been done a million times over?

It sounds good in words but a link would've been much better but if you don't/can't provide one yet, a screenshot of your website would be just as good. :hint hint:

I don't want to be rude but, for both of you, asking us to switch on your websites for no reason is taking us for fools.
IMHO : don't try to be too big, and try to offer a fresh, maybe unique concept or service on your website. Try to be complementary with existing game dev websites.
