Hi,
Still open, it'd be interesting to get some variety and see what's out there.
Greetings.
We're finishing up our game and we've got a plethora of ideas tying into it in regards to marketing and distribution - but we're simply very unexperienced in the field of gaming. We feel like we would definitely benefit from somebody taking on a sort of combo consultant/semi-product manager/quasi-producer role.
We've got several angles of ideas, we could simply use somebody with experience who'd be able to execute them faster and more effectively than we would.
You having consultant experience is something we don't really care about, as long as you've had a major part in releasing a game - you're probably perfect for this.
PM a quick run-down of what you've done related to this and we'll start from there. Everything about the "position" is relative to your skills.
Thanks!
Hi,

It would help to know what the pay is, the duration and whether this is in-house, out of house fulltime or just an "as needed" skype relationship.
I've released about 50 games of all sizes over the last 25 years, from junior programmer through engine department head, to now ceo of a small indie that's been earning its keep for 8+ years. Myself and another similar programmer have outsourced our "consultancy" for the going rate of £1000 a day if you're interested.
From the very casual conversational tone, it's obviously "as needed". Not full-time and for this project. We obviously want to keep it all open-ended and see if we can figure out something that works. It all depends on what the person can actually bring to the table, since we're self-contained and have just finished an incredibly unique game (not a bejewled clone) on a zero-budget.
24hrs left, otherwise we're going with one of the guys who already contacted us.
Good luck with your business.
