Selling games through E-junkie

I'm considering selling my game(s) (only Kobo II so far) through E-junkie instead of PayPal, hopefully avoiding a bit of webdev, compared to building on my current PayPal solution. Also nice if PayPal isn't the only payment option, although I can at least accept "guest" credit cards via PayPal now.

I intend to add an "authentication" server later on, where the game launcher can get news, patches and stuff for registered players - pretty much like what Minecraft has. Seems like E-junkie provides a nice API for that, common for all payment methods.

For now though, I'd just like to get rid of the license files to unlock the "demo", so I can offer about the same "pay, then download full version" experience on the official site as I have via Indievania. E-junkie does file hosting too, so that should take care of that.

Any experiences? Suggestions?

Never heard of it, but what's wrong with BMT? We're not using it yet but it took me zero time to set up a basic account and there are customisation options up the wazoo.

Nothing wrong with BMT, but E-junkie appears to do what I need at the same cost as PayPal (which is basically the cost of accepting credit cards in any way at all) + a flat $5/month.

VAT! Seriously. Don't know if you have that in Sweden, but it doesn't matter. If you sell to EU customers you need to add VAT (or not if they have VAT exemption number) and there are so many VAT countries... then you need to pay that collected VAT to some EU tax agency...

Payment processors like BTM or esellerate handle the vat thing for you.

Good point! (Yes, we have VAT here - 25%...!)

It seems like E-junkie supports VAT calculations, but AFAICT, that just adds the tax to the amount (which might not even be desirable), so I'd still have to deal with the rest.
