Neat site, I can't imagine how you have the energy. Lots of memories in those boxes including my first computer, the mighty ZX81!
Hello,
Over the past year, I have been gathering dev kits for classic consoles from around the net, fixing them up to get them in a working state, and then wrote small game samples for each. The samples will compile out of the box.
You can find them at

I am currently up to 14 different systems.
Enjoy!

Awww, no MSX?
I loved the idea! Really nice seeing all those old platforms in one place
And since you ask for devkits... I've done one: you code in Pascal, on a Windows IDE (even with code highlight) and it's easy to install/setup (but it doesn't work in 64-bit machines, since the MSX crosscompiler - which I didn't made - won't run). You can get "MSXPad" here: http://www.icongames.com.br/msxfiles/util-en.htm
On that page you have also a small tutorial, telling how to convert pictures and to code small samples. Also, I have a small penalty shootout game, open source, made with it: http://www.icongames.com.br/msxfiles/mpenal/index.htm
To see how far you can go with Pascal on a very old machine - Take a look at this other game I've made (not freeware though): http://www.icongames.com.br/msxfiles/profan/indexe.htm

I may take a look at the MSX one. I'm currently busy with a Neo Geo Pocket Color game.
However, I tend to stay away from computers, with the exception of the beloved SpectrumThank you for the links!
I have just added a new homebrew game on Neo Geo Pocket Color (NGPC). The game is called NGCollector, and it simulates the life of a Neo Geo collector!

This is nice for those who like retroceding in this old machines :-).
Although personally the only old machine I owned that was not a PC is a Spectrum+ that I never coded in anything else than BASIC. Although I tried some assembly for fun recently :-P.
my first home computer was a Commodore 64, oh, those wonderful tapes![]()
Electronic, Hard House, Film Music
88 preview tracks to listen to online + artist forums
And my projects Vanethian, and X-tivity Factor
That's pretty impressive. I know of another SNES development kit, but it uses ASM for most of the code. I noticed your SNES kit, uses mostly C code.
Two of my homebrew games are now on cartridge!

Atari cartridge. *sigh* I bought Mario Tennis Open for 3DS at GameStop today and the cashier told me there was currently a special bonus for trading in used games and I said, "I never trade my old games. I still have my Atari cartridges from the early 80s."
