    Default Best 3d engine for vs.net 7.1

I'm doing a research about good 3d engines that suport vs.net 7.1. I would apreciate any help in this.

Do you care what language it is written in or what platform it targets? vs.net 7.1 can handle traditional C, and C++, or managed c/c++ for the .NET platform, or C#, or Visual Basic and munch more.

I think the point was that "3d engine that supports vs.net 7.1" is a rather meaningless statement. Anything that is written in C or C++ (compiler differences aside), for example, by definition "supports vs.net 7.1", but it doesn't really mean anything.

He's trying to ask you a question you need to answer before any of us can help you.

The answer will be radically different, depending on whether you plan on using C++ or a managed language like C#/VB.NET.

If you want help, spend less time criticizing people who are trying to help you, and more time answering their questions so they can actually give you helpful advice.

Virtual Pimp I think you'll probably find more people at your level here These forums are for people who take game development very seriously and it is a large part of their lives. I think you'll find gamedev.net to be a much better fit for your level of skill and knowledge. Your welcome stick around and do some reading in this forums history, there's lots to learn. But please refrain from posting until you feel you have a better understanding of game development and the community that frequents these forums.

I'm going to close this thread for the time being as it has become apparent to me that even if the answer you seek was answered in explicit detail it still wouldn't be of much use to you or anyone else here.
