Smile [ANN] Nightmare Adventures: The Witch's Prison

    Hey folks,

Our first "real" game is out now on Big Fish Games. It's a horror-with-humor PURE puzzle adventure game called Nightmare Adventures: The Witch's Prison.

    The Link:

Our first few launch days were a bit scary due to mouse cursor issues, but it's all patched up now. Give it a try! Let me know what you think! Buy a dozen copies for your friends!

    Some random screens:

Nightmare Adventures: The Witch's Prison is now available on PC, Mac, iPad, and iPhone.

Wonderful game. I hope that it will reach n. 1 soon on BFG!

It seem that many players are finally ready for real adventure games.

Could you tell us some about tech (engine ect.) and budget?

    Thank you

And, if you can, development time and how many people worked on this game. Thanks!

<pauses kicking self for not creating an adventure game instead of a brickbreaker>

Looks good! I'm also interested in the particulars (dev time, size of team, etc).

    Thanks all.

    Here some info:

Team: Our core team is two. One programmer, one artist. We contracted out for sound and for some of the cutscene art stuff.

Time: The game took waaay too long (about 14 months), given the budget.

    Tech: We used Torque 2D

Pretty much any other details fall under "can't talk about 'em", I think.

Agreed, nice job! (meanwhile, we're not even ON the list....)

Well, I'm off to kick myself some more. Think I'll switch legs now, this one's getting tired.

You can borrow my legs. They're quite robust now. More like bodybuilder's legs from all the kicking I've been giving myself over the years

On a serious note, now that you know adventure games are coming back, jump on that wagon NOW! Hmmm I guess that applies to me too...
