Default Games for Mac OS X

I've got an iMac three days ago. Its the 21.5" model with the NVIDIA 9400 GPU. I'm still learning the environment and i'm reading Apple's docs (best docs for a platform i've seen so far). So far its awesome, although i'm not as awestruck as most people coming from XP or Vista because i used Ubuntu a lot (years) and it has a similar "works out of the box" mentality (as far as this is possible with PCs at least, but it just happened that my hardware worked just fine with Ubuntu). Besides GNOME is closer to Mac than Windows.

However after a while i wanted to see some games. To my surprise, i couldnt find any site about the topic. Searching for "Mac games" and "Macintosh games" i could only find some blogs and a single review site probably operated by a single person which has only a few games and very bad genre organization. Also i found Apple's games site which isn't much better than a news site. I can't search for games, for example or filter by genre.

I know that Macs aren't the most gamer friendly machines, but i expected to see more. If i search for Linux games i can find much better sites than that, including the Happy Penguin which probably contains most Linux games ever made and a couple of publishers specializing in Linux games. Given that according to rumors around here Mac gamers pay more and Macs have a better market share than Linux boxes, i expected to see more sites. Besides Mac OS X is desktop-oriented while Linux is everything-oriented. And Mac OS X users are big fans about their OS (now i can see why, btw, its an awesome system) and fans form communities.

So, probably i'm missing something. Where is the games elephant i fail to notice? :-)
Where do you put your Mac games? Or find them?

The only two big game sites I've used are BFG and Reflexive. Both of those have a good number of Mac games - I believe you have to choose your platform when browsing games at Reflexive, but I have a feeling (based on what it did when I went there on my iPod Touch) that BFG has some sort of auto-detection and will direct you immediately to the Mac games.

Amazon has a notice in their FAQ that they're trying to get their Mac games sorted out, so by the time they take over game marketing from Reflexive, hopefully that'll be up and running.

Starting from this month Steam will be available on Mac too, that's probably going to be a good boost for the Mac gaming market.

The most prominent Mac only ones that I know of are inside Mac games, Mac game store, and Mac game files (IMG and MGF have been around for quite a while): http://www.insidemacgames.com/, http://www.macgamestore.com/ http://www.macgamefiles.com/

Conveniently, they're all linked to each other at the top of the page. There's also Mac games arcade there, but I don't know much about it.

Direct2Drive.com also has Mac games for download. Things like Dragon Age and Braid and such.

GameHouse also has a mac catalog that has been around for a very long time (predates Big Fish and Reflexive's mac offerings) but it is mostly limited to game published by gamehouse.

I am honoured to be the creator of the first game you played on your Mac

Mac games are everywhere. We're just not allowed to tell you.

Most of my Mac games I bought at:

    1) The Apple store in San Diego
    2) Reflexive, for certain casual games
    3) Directly from developers, for certain indie games
