Default Current Project Go Gimbal Go

    Hey everybody,

I am the project lead on an XNA original game that I am working on with 5 fellow designers. Our game is Go Gimbal Go and we have been working on it for six months. It is a color matching/physic platform/racer with a big emphasis on speed.

Here is a link to the game.

    What do you guys think?

The trailer first impression: the logo and the voice over "Go-Gimbal-Go" almost made me stop watching it, even before the game footage had a chance to begin. The logo looks very off putting to me: the font reminds me of army and the figure is painted very poorly, the outline borders look childish to me.

The game is a completely different matter: it looks very nice. Definitely not my cup of coffee (art style and genre), but I would give it a try after seeing the video. I think that means, someone has done a really good job The trailer is well paced and tells what's the game's about pretty well.

I definitely liked the gravity defying jumps. I hope it's not too hard to control. Looking forward to the game and hope this feedback helps.
