Default The indie game review show (If you're working on a game look here)

    Segment 1 of Episode 1 is released: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdB5gd4-HD8 )

Rules of submission video: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKDEieGP7og )

This will be a show sponsored by Loveless Entertainment. To enter one of your games for a review for episode one of the indie game review show post a video response of Your game's gameplay. If you don't have a screen recording program just post a demo link and I'll upload it to my normal account and submit it in your steed. If you don't have any games that's fine because we have a showcase for talent at the end of the show.

If you are a good artist, show your art here.
If you are a good voice actor, let us here your voice.
If you have any talent related to game design.. this is your platform.

Any genre is welcome, any program is accepted. So, what are you waiting for?

Yeah, this was one of my secrets I had been negotiating with my staff. Now that I have a lengthy fanbase foundation I figured I minus well start now.
Here is the deal. You can only submit original games with graphics, and etc that do not belong to any commercial groups. I have to decline/reject any applications that'll get me sued.. as you know I'm going commercial soon and yeah... that'll hinder me.

    Your reviewers are/will be

    Stark! - http://www.youtube.com/user/Uberwall

    Lauraxe - http://www.youtube.com/user/Lauraxe

They will do REVIEWS of your game on the LovelesEntertainment Channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/LovelesEntertainment) which will be in the same format as a small review show. While at the same time having Let's plays uploaded to their youtube channels. We will cycle views between the four of us and of course generate more as we go along.. (as of now our subscribers are our own)

These reviewers will play YOUR game and rate them on a scale of 1 - 5. Our viewers will then be given the option of turning in independent ratings which will be posted at the end of every show.

If you're interested, I have two words; LET'S PLAY!

Interesting project, even if I would suggest to have no background music during the review and to make them a bit longer, giving more info about the game, listing good and bad points, etc... Maybe watching some reviews on Gametrailers.com could help you.

I hope to send you a game to review soon

Looks like you have a cool thing going here. I'll be sure to keep checking up on your review videos!

As for feedback, I think production quality needs to be taken up a notch. The background music was way too loud during the review, the reviewer sounded like he was speaking directly into the mic (you shouldn't put the mic in the windpath of the speaker), and the mic quality sounded extremely muffled, like a cheap PC desktop mic. Also, the reviewer was way too monotone in his delivery, giving it a "random Youtube user video" feel.

You should definitely check out Gametrailers, especially the videos done by Screwattack and AVGN. I believe those guys run on relatively inexpensive setups, but production quality is pretty damn good for what they're doing. They are also both very good with their dialogue delivery; they are fun and exciting to listen to.

I wish you best of luck as you continue to build your business!

Thank you for the reply. Yes, the VA was monotone because he was was voice acting a villian with no emotion from a game of mine "Legend of Harpine" .. however it was still a poor quality and his voice was lacking.

I do agree with you guys on that said, the quality will improve next segment you have my word on it.

I'd agree that longer reviews with more talking points would be a plus. Maybe have a set format that includes an introduction and conclusion, game overview, game features, the good and bad, etc.

I am little confused by the angle too - did you review your own game and give 4.5/5? Was this just a test/example review?

No, I didn't review my own game. o.o (My comments needs to be approved so there is a delay) The game was "World Outside" from AnaryuSei. There are three or four other games that are on the pending list to be interviewed at Loveless Entertainment. All the games that are going to be interviewed are posted as Video Responses to IGRS videos.

I will improve the quality of the IGRS with the next video, promise. I talked it over with my VA/ staff and we're working on content as I post. =)
