Default Anyone know a good flash-based open source 2d game engine?

I'm trying to find a good game engine to develop a series of casual 2-d games in, and I'm hoping the great folks here can point me to the most used/popular one to try out.

Having never used flash for anything serious, I can't really recommend any engines. Disclaimer aside, I did recently download the beta of the push button engine which looked pretty decent.

I've looked lots of times too, but never found a 2d game engine for flash...

I haven't looked into too much about it's 2D capabilities, but the Push Button Engine is supposed to be open source. http://pushbuttonengine.com/

There is one that should become available "in a few weeks". It will be open-source.
