January 22, 2009 - Casual game developer Enkord has announced the Gunrox Affiliate Program, a turnkey revenue-earning opportunity for Web site owners and game portal operators. The Gunrox Affiliate Program allows site owners to offer Enkord's multiplayer turn-based war game for download and receive money from purchases the end user makes in the Gunrox Cash Shop. With Gunrox players spending more than the average cost of a casual game to upgrade their characters, the earning potential of the game’s affiliate program is substantial.
Players are calling Gunrox, which features randomized maps set in a modern day game world, "addictive" and comparing its tactical depth to that of chess. A large community is forming around this emerging classic as players train their squads, acquire powerful weapons and develop incredible skills.
Unlike other affiliate programs, which use Internet browser cookies and other unreliable methods to track customers, Enkord's Gunrox Affiliate Program is based on new technology that reliably tracks where customers download the game. When a user downloads Gunrox through an affiliate's site, a custom setup file is created that includes the affiliate code of the host. Then, when the user spends money in the Gunrox Cash Shop, the affiliate is credited with the sale.
"The Gunrox Affiliate Program is geared toward maximizing your revenues by providing a transparent and reliable solution as well as a generous compensation package," said Yaroslav Yanovsky, CEO of Enkord. "Plus, we believe you need to keep your visitors, so we're not going to steal them from your site. Our affiliate program is structured in such a way your visitors won't even notice they’ve left your site."
With the full version of Gunrox available for free and a growing group of players turning the game into one of the hottest multiplayer battle zones on the Internet, now is a good time to get in on the action.

Don't know if that's exactly new technology since Reflexive and others have been doing it for years...... but I guess some leeway is allowed in a press release.
Best of luck! I signed up, but you might want to correct the spelling/grammar on your affiliate signup page since many people associate poor spelling/grammar with scams.
You probably ought to know..
