2D art for casual games/pixelart/concepts
Artist : Pavel Langweil / Rainbow Creatures
Site : http://www.rainbowcreatures.com/gameart.php
Hi there. I've been doing pixelart in the past(for cell phone games), however, recently I've got more practise in classical 2D PC game art. I've completed game art for several games, including games for Rainbow Creatures and also games for other companies. On Fever Frenzy, I've been directing 2 artists, one of them is also available for work(in case you are looking exactly for Fever Frenzy style backgrounds). He's also great at 2d concept art and illustration. I'm also cooperating with one character artist. The good thing is that I've been working with these people for some time, so I know they are reliable and it will save you some potential headaches with unfinished work. Also - for indies, our pricing is reasonable, myself being an indie game author/programmer, I know what a struggle it is to find reasonable AND reliable artists. On the other hand, we won't do work for free or extra cheaply. I think that we are a good balance between the amateurs/semi-pros and the professional studios that are around.
One last thing, I've created and art directed a game that was quite sucessfull on the Big Fish Games portal, so you might want someone who knows the smell of a top 10 game :-) Feel free to PM me or better, use the form on our website where you can fill in more detailed description of what you need.
Thanks!
Pavel

Nice stuff. Love the paintings, particularly. The ones at the top (for the MMO) - were they done entirely digitally?

I like your art.
Maybe it doesn't matter too much, but seeing a text link ad for "cheap cigarettes" on a site selling casual games is a little odd.

re
Hi there everyone, the paintings, yes they were done digitally with a tablet. They were created by the other artist working with me, his skills are pretty impressive from my standpoint too.
About the ads..whoops. Those are from text-link-ads, they update automatically. I'll look into if I can control that stuff, you are right, it doesn't look pretty good :-)
