Default Game Thoughts taking a break

It appears that www.gamethoughts.com is no longer selling games at their site.

They had recently started selling an Indie RTS "World Fables" at their site. And they were selling other strategy games at their site.

This definately sucks. I was hoping to see them succeed.

I emailed them a few weeks ago when that was posted. I know that Mark was just married, so I'm sure he is re-evaluating where he is spending his time/money and what the future of those sinks are.

On World Fables he said that he was letting the developer choose if they wanted to void their contract and go it with someone else or alone. I get the feeling that Game Thoughts will come back as a genre specific site, along the lines of Matrix Games, but not necessarily Strategy based.

At that time, and no sooner, will Game Thoughts emerge from its cocoon, stonger and better than before.
Looks like they aren't planning on disappearing though.

    You never know.

I think for all of us, developers, webmasters, artists...whoever, there are plenty of moments when you guage what you are doing vs what you are getting out of it and then you consider what the future is and what you are really hoping for things out of the future....and then you either try doing things a different way...or you move onto doing something different (not Dexterity.com as a prime example)

Sorry for that sentance err paragraph I hate to ever end a sentance, so my sentances often become a long list of random somewhat connected thoughts.
