Default Retail Deals Around The World...

    Hello,

I am looking for small publisher (well casual game friendly) around the world to publish my last game at retail.

I have a lot of versions: English, Spanish, German, Japanese, Chinese... and can easily localize the game for different languages.

Do you know Publishers in your own country that could be interested? Or have you deal with a publisher that you could recommend?

    Thanks a lot

    JC

Sorry for bumping my own thread... But no anwser! I keep hearing a lot of people talking about their games reaching retails... So, is there any reasons you don't share with whom publisher you published your game.

    Thanks

Maybe, I will be interested: gameintermediary ( at ) gmail ( dot ) com
I am licensing agent looking for good computer games to publish in the ex-USSR countries. I must add that I prefer games that could be interesting to (hard)core gamers mostly, not only for casual public, and games with innovative gameplay.
Typical profit for casual and low-budget titles is from 5000 to 20000 USD. If this is of your interest, let me know.

EDIT: Also, talk to Lloyd Melnik (MerscomMan on this forum). He also does retail publishing in many countries.

    Default Retail distributors

    CJ,

Have you tried Channelsources.com? How about Encoreusa.com? There are a number of others as well. At FastSpring, we help our gaming and software vendors with their marketing efforts. Feel free to drop me a note and we can talk more about retail. We've helped a number of our clients get placed in retail stores through partnerships with distributors.

Smaller: You could try (best to go non-exclusive 'if possible' for retail)...

    http://www.xinginternational.com/

And before some of you indie author badged old'uns start up... yes I get paid, so no problems there ok

Larger: You might be in luck to get in with eGames also (they do nice retail packaging usually if you can get a deal on that)...

    Good luck!

Which game are you trying to get published. Hard to give you recommendations if we don't know the genre.

    Question

I'm not saying your a particular title is budget, but I heard elsewhere yesterday that BHV only usually do medium and full price and not budget PC releases for the record.

If anyone wants to tell me otherwise then great

    Otherwise
Look at their shop, they offer many titles for 20 Euro and even more for 10 Euro.
