    Default Preview: Off-Road Velociraptor Safari

We just capped a trailer for our next 3D web game, Off-Road Velociraptor Safari, in which you hunt raptors in an off-road jeep. We're at 8 weeks of development and sneaking it out the door sometime next week. Enjoy!

    Deliciously quirky.

You know, if it proves to be a big hit, you could do a whole series of Velociraptor-themed games across different genres. How about a defensive building game?

    Very nice animations!
The jeep seems to need a little more work but the raptors are very impressive.

BTW, If you see an small dino with a white t-shirt do not hit him

Nice Physics and animation response to physics.
You may have some objections from "cat people"
Unless those are terminator velociraptors from

Well, at least it's a vicious extinct predator, right?

I think it's awesome. Hilariously weird idea.

The game is actually balanced between stunt scoring (jumps, two-wheel, etc) and hunting the raptors. We never tell the player to kill anything, except for the obvious point bonuses when you do. So the onus is kind of on them. Plus, look who's driving; maybe the raptors aren't so innocent after all:

    The engine is Unity, btw.

The Unity engine looks really nice. How is it to work with?

what now velociraptors have feathers... Steven will have to redo the jurrasic park I think.. and put big chicken instead of T-rex..

by the way, maybe it would feel way cooler to me if I was hunting velocieas but big t-rexes would be chasing me from time to time.. so that it get's some balance in fair department...

Looks fun, nice job (8 weeks? yikes... I am so inefficient).
BTW, have you perhaps had a bad safari experience at some point?

Neat theme and idea, however it looked like it needs more feedback when you hit that dinosaur or do some kind of stunt. Small text and points in the top right of the screen is not enough. If you decided to go with violent theme why don't you add blood and gore? Or at least some flashes and splashes when you hit em.

Oh and I hated music BTW.

You're one of the most productive Unity devs I've ever seen! I've bought it last summer but didn't manage to create anything yet

Looking good. It's nice to see something this original and creative coming from a fellow Phoenician.
