Tongits 1.0 Released

Tongits is a 3 player card game similar to gin rummy. It originated here in the Philippines and is very popular here. There are also a few who play the game in other countries.

The game features computer players with challenging AI, an innovative card dragging/organizing system, simulated betting and stats.

This is the first commercial game that I was able to release. It is a rewrite and improvement of an old open source game of the same name I created a few years back (Free Tongits).

It uses Adobe's newest runtime technology, AIR. This is also some kind of an experiment on AIR's commercial viability as a game development platform.

I am currently working on a multiplayer/netplay upgrade and will be releasing it soon.

Hi guys, I have just slashed the registration fee from $15 down to $10. I'm also giving away 50% discount coupons bringing the registration fee even lower at $5! This will be for a limited time only, the fee will go back to the regular $10 after the promo ends.

I just thought $10 would be enough for this type of game, $15 seems too expensive for a first version and for a first-time shareware game developer. I'll probably reset it back though to $15 when the game reaches a significant version 2 or 3.
