    BOULDER, Co., December 16, 2007 - Team Phobic is excited to announce the release of their first game title, Electropy, an arcade style platform game. Players make their way through over 130 levels, collecting power-ups and coins to reach the exit in the fastest time possible. Scores may be submitted and viewed online, allowing players to compete against others from around the world. Electropy comes with same built in level editor used by the developers, allowing for unlimited replayability.

    Electropy can be purchased online for $19.95 from Electropy.com for Mac OS/X and Windows 2000/XP/Vista. A demo is also available for free on Electropy.com.

    I couldn't get the demo for the Mac to download. You might want to check out the link.

    Just fixed this now, we had the extension wrong, thanks! ( A friend called me about it 10 minutes ago... panic mode! haha)

    Didn't have time to test it really, but the first thing that quickly annoyed me was that the UP and DOWN arrows didn't seem to work. Then I tried the "real game" instead of the tutorial and got to know the real mechanics. From the tutorial, I didn't understand that I have to use the "ninja rope" ( ) to navigate around. I thought it was some kind of shooting unit

    Well... maybe I overlooked something, but I think you should make this clearer

    One thing that I already saw in the screenshots is that the textures look very "default" and very dark. I think it might be better to create some unique and styled textures, which represent a cool overall look for the game. That way, it looks a bit cobbled together in my opinion.

    I'll retry the gameplay during the next days to give more feedback.

    If not: Sorry, but the visuals look like they were done by my mom. Really, you need to address this. It certainly doesn't look "exceptional". In fact saying you're dedicated to making exceptional games and then posting that screenshot just ruins your credibility imo.

    I can't comment on the gameplay as I don't download anything that doesn't look like some effort's been put in on presentation and polish. You may not give a rats ass about my opinion, but you should worry about how many might share it.

    I hope that's not too harsh, I'm trying to help you. Rather than indulge in mutual lubing (like some here advocate), I like to give honest criticism in the hope that it might help you shift some copies.

    Not sure if you're asking for feedback, but anyway...

    As usual, I have to agree with the other comments and say that most of the graphics could do with a facelift. But, I do think the 'guts' of the game were quite smooth and playable. (btw, mouse control?). Mac version runs well.

    I thought the levels were a bit harsh, e.g. trying to hang on for dear life, and beat times on very small levels, rather than letting me explore larger levels, and play around more.

    Just my opinion, but addressing those 2 aspects could make it a much more appealing game.
