Wink Your 2D in-game screen specialist

    Hello,

    Artist's name: Peter (Szabo Gabor)
My online portfolio is at: http://www.easternraider.com

I am back and again freelancing in 2D art.

As you might see I have a painterly style and worked a lot for the RPG industry. I also created some covers, titles and splash screens for gaming projects. Also I worked for Segasoft in the 90's for Genesis, so I have fundamentals in spriting and pixeling.
You could use me best for creating title screens, in-game screens, level-ends etc. or for creating the design part of the game, menu elements, logos, banners etc. For sprites and animations on PC and the and cellphone-games (recently). (examples available through e-mail). I also create tilesets (as some of you, who worked with me already know).

    Non-full list of clients:

    Segasoft
    Dataware Games
    Microways
    Z-Man Games
    Beholder Ltd.
    Summoners Online
    Forever People RPG
    Postmortem Studios
    Ronin Studios
    Johann Games/Gottick Games
    Sortasoft
    Karjasoft
    Frozax Games
    Creatrix Games
    Arcade Lab
    Winter Wolves
    UNO-Soft

Some basic quotes for you to see if it even worths to spend time on contacting me.

    1. Any full-screen image (background, title, in-game, in itself (without GUI and icons)): between $35-70
    depending on complexity.
    2. Any logo: between $25-50 depending on requirements
    3. Tilesets (let's say 40 pieces, 64x64): between $100-200 (depending on perspective and complexity)
    4. Sprites, menu elements etc. about $5-10 (depending on... you know, many factors, size, complexity etc.)

The hourly rate is about $12 (though I rather quote on project, than per hour, if it took longer, that's my problem).

    Thanks!
    Peter

Edit: I add some images that hopefully make you click on the above link .

Love your stuff. I may have a project for you.

Do you also do animation such as walk cycles? I will be looking for fun cartoony style artwork like your sample here:

    Thank you!

I got some feedback from you guys from those who already contacted me, and seemingly my portfolio is not really the one that organized for "indie-gaming companies", and I apologise for that. I mean that my gallery formed to show my skills to board gaming and RPG publishers so it is not easy to find the relevant art for this market. I apologise for that, and ask you to browse the top level of all main albums because you might find more artwork interesting for you in them in sub-folders, or ask me about what would be interesting for you and I put together the stuff for you what might show my abilities within the area what is most interesting for you.

    Thanks!

Peter did some work for me recently, and it was done quickly and revised to my satisfaction. He's very professional and does good work.

    Thanks, Peter.

The specification said: it is a guy (with a tiger) who has a bow a long leather coat, a hat, skulls in his neck and mostly looks like as Van Helsing...

    Just for your information.
I do not take any works until about 15th of January. I have some health problems, I have to address and when I work for a client s/he deserves the most care and in this case I weren't able to provide that.
I finish my running projects, and then take a break.

If anyone thought of hiring me, that will be able to happen only next year.

I get back to this topic when I am ready to work again.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Eastern Raider Design&Artworks is back again.
A new member joined us, who is a big addition to the pixel-tossing division.

    Some examples of his works:

    A full design

A real pixel stuff (amiga diskmag)

    Some great textures

So now, the two of us serves the honoured customers, each of us giving the best of his skills in his area, for the price of one. May call it... 2in1

Also, I also get in touch with a poser specialist, and the following works were done in a cooperative manner. She created and rendered the figures, while I painted the backgrounds and integrated the figures into them (lights, mood etc.)
This is going to be for an upcoming tasteful adult puzzle game (no-porn, no-sex, following the tracks of the good ol' Blue Angel 69 and Logo on the Amiga).

Glad to hear you're back. I've used your services in the past (thought the game with your art isn't ready yet) and probably will look for more in the future

Thank you! I really didn't think my absence was noted!
