    Default [Game] - Biggification

I released it on Newgrounds this past week.

The goal of the game is to collect colored orbs before they expand and touch each other. Collecting consecutive orbs of the same color gives you a multiplier.

Any and all feedback/criticism is appreciated.

This is an excellent example of a game that implements the flow philosophy of gameplay. I enjoyed it very much.

I don't know if I would buy a commercial game of this. The demo was sufficient for my interests. Look to adding depth to the game as it progresses. Perhaps new strategies should arise as you play.

Consider constraining the location of new orbs to random points on static patterns, starting from simple forms, circles, to more complex forms: star shapes? This would give the player something to look for as they knock out orbs over long times of play.

Also there might new types of orbs that grow at different speeds, or need to be knocked more than once, or they start wandering about, disturbing other with their 'gravity'.

Just some crap ideas off the top of my head, to let you know there's a lot more that can be done with this. You'll probably think of better ideas, since you're more familiar with it.

Don't change the first ten levels or so. Keep those exactly as they are. They really suck you in.

The only thing that bothered me were the transition from one background to another. Try a crossfade, and organize the images so they switch to similar colors/content.
