I'm a 20 year old girl from New Zealand.
I've been dabbling in programming throughout the Engineering degree I'm doing and recently took a paper that completely changed my opinion about the programming world.
Up until that point all we'd done was "now open matlab and make it maths" and other boring things. Then I took a 'programming design paper'. It was terrifying - and awesome! They threw random assignments at us in languages we'd never tried before, told us what the output should be and left us to drown in the deep end.
My favourite project was a three-person group assignment that had us making a Space Invaders game in java.
Ever since completing that project (a few months ago) I knew I wanted to be a game developer.

Health, animals, rock climbing, computers, physics, mathematics, programming, gaming.

    I am noob.
