In the summer of 2016, Elvis Matthews decided to form an indie gaming team right after working as concept artist and graphic designer for over 8 indie game projects. He manages to come up with a few suggested game ideas, but needed an identity of the team that is interesting, but unique. A team whose mission of wanting to recreate the past generation of gaming and what made them appeals for today's consumer.
Turnings to art as his favorite past time and inspiration as Art Ink Studios was born based on how art and video game have strong ties to create and evoke an emotion connection. The wooden palette with graffiti street art was chosen as the team's logo to which it was once part of Elvis’ art assignment in high school.
In March of 2017, after the team named is established and the ideal game is ready as Mark Suter (3d Artist) and Jon Gillis (Programmer) was hired while Pierrick Querolle (Composer and Sound FX) was added about nine months later.

Indie Gamer is delicately held together by a single poor bastard who thankfully gets help from various community volunteers. If you frequent this site or have found value in something you've learned here, help keep the site running by donating a few dollars (for beer of course)!
