How Is Boonty?

Well. Some of you might recognize mrkwang lives in Korea.

I have known that Oberon does some service through Daum & Mgame in Korea, and found Boonty has Korean page & maybe even some office in Korea.

I'm not sure exactly how good - well - big Boonty is, because all I know about them is just their homepage. Korean page is... somewhat weird for me, due to some unusual design for Korean site & unusual Korean Language Font.

So... I might ask something about Boonty here, if you don't mind.

Could you please share your idea about Boonty?

My own feeling is that Boonty are quite big. I dont remember why I get that impression, someone who actually knows thier history might be able to shed some light on it. But from my point of view, I'd regard them as in the same league as Oberon or Mumbo Jumbo.

Yeah they are quite big, with offices all over the world... The fact they raised a few millions helped in that but even before they had been very successful.

They're big. I think the biggest in Europe. They've generally been good to work with. I did have a problem getting paid a couple of months back ( the thread about it is around here ) but once it was brought to the attention of the higher-ups, it was resolved swiftly and courteously, and I suspect won't be happening again.

They have a slightly broader audience than some of the portals. They're a bit more like Reflexive than Real in audience terms, is probably the best way I can put it. They have a slightly broader audience and therefore a slightly broader selection of games. As you probably know, they have a strong Asian presence, which I guess not many others do.

When I first signed with them, I recall contracts being couriered overnight, which I found impressive. It's not a big thing, but it gave me a good impression of them. That they were professional and quick.

So their Korean site is just unusual thing, maybe.
