I think somebody might be interested in this, so I'd post short thing about this.
Personally, I don't purchase in-game-item , so don't use their microservice. Anyway I'm living in Korea by myself & experience several internet stuff as Cyworld.
Payment method : Credit Card, Bank Transfer, Home Phone Bill, Cellular Phone Bill, OK Cashbag (sometimes) and... Convenient Store!
Well. I'm not kidding. Recently, or some months ago, or some years ago, Korean local 24-7 Convenient Store started selling Micropayments for in-game-item. They even do TV advertisement for this service at Ongamenet, Cable TV dedicated to Starcraft Tournament.
In fact, selling in Convenient Store is for Children or Teenagers, who doesn't have Credit Card & wish to buy real little micropayments. And if I remember correctly, some Korean local newspaper issued that as dissing, because children might waste their money from small wallet to the gaming. And maybe, some parent might dislike it very much.
P.S. : Family Mart, one of Korean Convenient Store chain sells even [World of Warcraft] install CDs (DVD for expansion pack). Of course, Korean don't have to purchase package to play WOW, anyway it takes tons of time to d/l even here, so sells that. Price might be 2-3$, if I remember correctly. And Expansion Pack has OST CD as bonus material.
