So I retired Ancient-Pig.com ... it just wasn't cutting the mustard for me anymore.

Check out my new site... it's got some familiar work on there, as well as new additions.

Here's some work completed for the latest Tomb Raider game, Tome Raider Anniversary Edition.

Character concepts were done by Eidos... modeling and texturing done by myself (with exception to the weapons being held)

Holy sh!t dude, you got some serious skills. Everything is amazing, especially the textures. Modeling can be learned but making great textures is an art.

I assume you use the good old maya/max/softimage for modeling and photoshop/painter for textures ? What about the size of those textures ? it looks like they are 1024x1024 or more.

Hey thanks, man - glad you like the work :)

I use Max as my main modeling package, however I know Maya as well. The textures were hand painted in Photoshop.

512x512 (one for head, one for body) is what's being displayed here. Shrunk down to 256's for use in game (PS2)

Nice work. Not quite a style I'm looking for right now, but definitely on the watch list for future stuff.

Very nice indeed! I agree with the sentiments of an earlier poster that texture mapping/creation's an art in itself. Very impressive stuff.

How do you find working for EA?

Thanks you guys.. look for more work soon :)

Working for EA was great. You always hear about their horrible reputation, but I love working with EA...

I did some work for them years ago on Space Hulk. (15 or so). They seemed very good back then, and the programmer only had good things to say about them. :)
