Anyone recommend a good e-mailing service

I need to send out updates to customers in the 1000's + and I need a service that will do it. Does anyone use any good mail services and if so how much do they cost?

Thanks for the links that is exactly what I was looking for. My ISP (got.net) provides one for $10/month which seems pretty cheap, but I wanted to get some comparisons. Maybe I will give them a try.
