Hi Guys,

Just wanted to share my hits/downloads with you and to let you know that www.gamealbum.com has been a great success with over 600 hits and 200 demo downloads per day so if your looking for a site to submit your game then i highly recommend this site.

Has any one had fantastic results with a free submition site like this.

We are all here to help each other so lets hear the good ones:)

Darren.

Just out of curiosity... does the number of megabytes downloaded for the demo file from your site == 200x the size of the file per day? Because if not...

Yes 200 downloads of the demo not just click and see what happens lol.

So any other sites i should check out?

Lol, that site is one of the "top 10" that I mentioned in another thread. I was very happy with the traffic they sent my way.

They accounted for 60% of referrals to the Shlongg website in the past week. :)

Not to say that I didn't know about GameAlbum... ;) but anyway

Gamextazy.com made amount of additional promotion for most of our games. Sorry it belongs to Alawar - but this is not such a big fault after all. :)

PS This is terrible really. Guy came, gave his tip and and asked for a help in change. Everyone discussed his report but no one gave him anything in change. Is it fair guys?

ShareUp gave me quite a bit of traffic though I never sell anything there. Perhaps the buyers are casual gamers?

Eskimo Games at http://www.eskimogames.com/ has always given us decent traffic. Well worth giving it a go

Popped in to report a very impressive bunch of downloads of my game from GameAlbum! Considering that "Days of Sail" is not that casual and not that small (60 MB)...

Future's looking bright, Daren! :)

Well I've given up trying to submit to Eskimo.

It keeps saying Error: Bad Name. WTF?

I had the same problem. Instead of using a developer login, use the guest login, which enables a field for your company name.

Thanks for that. I figured out the problem was my comapny name was too long.

BTW does anyone know how long it takes to get listed on GameAlbum?

Looking back through my records, it only took about 24 hours for mine to be listed (PAD file submission, using Glimmer Game's submission service (http://www.glimmergames.com/index.php?categoryid=17&p2003_articleid=1)).

Yes I used Glimmer Games and I have to say how pleased I was with the service, very fast and an excellent cost effective way to submit to hundreds of sites.
