Hi!

I am getting close to completing my first video game : )
I just uploaded a little gameplay movie to youtube (using a login from bugmenot : ) just to show it off to You!

I'm lurking the forums for quite some time now and looking for e-commerce options...

First I read about activemark on gamegirladvance->zen of sudoku blog entry... Then found this forum and the plimus service everyone likes so much. The problem is I really don't want to program any purchase handling, unlocking codes generation and so on....
I wanted a simple service wich would handle my anti-piracy and e-commerce needs...
Unfortunately softwrap didn't work (i got the infamous xtreamlok error) and didn't reply to my emails (24/7 online support bla bla...)
trymedia doesn't answer my email either...

So i guess I'm going to try with portals now :)
Do You think they would be interested in a game like mine?
Which portal / service would You recommend as being least troublesome and involving? That would handle both wrapping my game and handling e-commerce?

Looks pretty nifty. So long as the controls are easy enough, it could be portal material. It also looks to be a fascinating game for just building/stacking interface, so you might benefit from a "play" or "sandbox" mode, where players can toy with, save, and show off their creations.

I think I'll just have a tutorial / practice level where you can play around with no time limit or goal...
Also since I have simple ai so the game plays itself behind the main menu I was thinking of adding a screensaver... ?
Although I remember reading someone's post here recently about the screensaver bit being way harder to implement then the actual game mechanics....

played this game b4, lol

on the N-64.

if it is like Tetrisphere, then go for it, I loved that game sooo much. We DO need a good clone of that game, if that is what you have in mind!

If not, then someone make me a Tetrisphere clone, and I will get the $19.95 ready for the launch!

Oh and get some screenshots out, otherwise they are likely to delete this thread.

Very nicely presented - although you should really consider purchasing fraps since it costs hardly anything. I'd frankly rather stab myself than put out a video with a web link on it that went to anywhere other than my own website.

Erm.. no : ) Tetrisphere was about similarly shaped blocks exploding if You stack three or more of them together...
Sphereout plays pretty much like tetris, You fill layers on the sphere with blocks....

You can always play tetrisphere on an emulator! ( I did : )

As for the screenshots I think the video pretty much makes for a couple : )
I just added a small timer, points indicator and will post a playable 1 minute beta for You to try out... (I know 1 minute trial will be annoying but I don't want to just stick it on the internet...)

It would be so much easier if trymedia wouldn't ignore my emails : (
