I'm not sure if I'm doing something terribly wrong... but I could swear that I've unsubscribed 2 times already from "My Big Fish Games" newsletter...

...and I still get these emails from them?

I just unsubcsribed my juuso -dabedidab- polycountproductions.com email address (again) and it said "you have unsubscribed". Let's see if it helps this time... Does any of you have this same problem?

maybe it works like this... every time you downloaded a game you had to fill in your email (for example 50 times)... now you have to sign-out for each of them :)

But they keep spamming me to: juuso -dabedidab- polycountproductions.com email address over and over... I've unsubscribed like 3 times already :)

I got an e-mail too, for the first time. At the bottom of the newsletter, the fine print says, "You are receiving this newsletter because you have a My Big Fish Games account." Which is odd, because I couldn't remember ever signing up. Sure enough, when I tried to sign in, I was told that my e-mail address isn't registered. Definitely spam....

similar experience. got mail, can't remember signing up. the funny thing is
that the only one of my e-mail adresses that got that message so far is
the one in my profile here at indiegamer.. mayhaps the sender got the addy
from here

Ditto for me - never ever downloaded and received spam today to this email addie.

Big Fish = Spammers, apparently, IMHO.

The same thought crossed my mind.

Hmm... maybe My Big Fish Games account somehow overrides this system or something :( It might be simply accident from their part - their system might have error that causes this. I don't think they spam consciously (well, they might - but for some reason I think this is just some stupid programming error on their code or something)

Sounds like they have a problem. I'm signed up with them, but I receive an email every once and a while. Definitely not spam frequency. Maybe send them an email and let them know, diplomatically that is. I'm sure they'll try to fix the issue.

I had this problem also even though they only have my email because they sell some of my games.

I got 12 emails yesterday all in quick succession - Spambot now get's them before I do.

I think if all the people getting the spam, who are not wanting it, just forward it on the people who want it, and are not getting it, then everyone is happy?
