Hi,

I'm going fulltime indie for a while as of 26.11.2006 to work on my game nano. I just wanted to inform you that I've built a 'proper' website and started a blog about my journey as a poor indiedev :) I know, I know... there's blogs everywhere... My blog is going to be development centered and more like a personal diary. It might be fun for other devs to follow how it goes... good or propably badly... :D

www.bonebroke.com

I would also love some feedback about the site... gfx? usability? what annoys you etc...

Thanks,
Bouncer

I like it. Nice and simple.

I don't want to complain, but if you really want to hear it, the JPEG'isms (artifacts) in the screenshots, logo, and whatnot are a bit of an eyesore.

Nice site, the red letters on black backgrounf hurt me eyes, buts its nice overall, too black though, doesnt communicate a fun company... in my opinion.
Good luck with your game.

PoV: note taken...

Christian: That's good it doesn't look too fun. I don't want casual, happy image... I'm aiming for a little darker, but not serious style. More in
the direction of 'adultish' humor  ... whatever that means :D

I'll second this. It's clean & stylish. Not much to suggest... but maybe make the logo to be (also) a link to "home".

And more nano screenshots & bigger pics :)

The site looks solid. No reason to make it cutesy since the game is much more hardcore anyways. Looking forward to keeping up on your progress in your blog.

Bouncer knows that I've been following his work for a long time on the Blitz forum. Glad to see that you're getting to focus full time on the game. By far the prettiest thing I've seen come out of B3D (though I'd like to think that mine is a close second :) ).

Dustin: Thanks. I have played the 'Bad, Bad Bots' and the models and animation are great. I really wish I could model like you.

Yea. Logo should be top/left-ish (as it currently already is) and it should link to the main page. Usability is meeting expectations ;)

And... me likes. I only dislike the blackness of the nano subpage. Doesnt fit the other pages and dark background is sorta meh. I also dont like the buttons there. Hm. Buttons... the top nav buttons have different margins. And you could use image replacement techiques there (for extra points) and tooltips (titles) perhaps.
