I was wondering have you given any thought of using this free version as a kind of demo for a new version with both the typing and standard shump mechanic?
This could be a great launching point for a sequel, with all the traffic you'll receive from GM and here.
Good luck.
PS Did you consider marketing this as a educational game? It would be great to allow a parent to type up a list of words and insert them into the game for kids to play. At the end in addition to a stats screen you could show words missed and target destroyed.

Yes, I certainly have, but I don't think people are too crazy about it. It certainly helped the game stand out, but myah. I don't want to put this in the edutainment category because it really isn't an educational game. TYPING REALLY CAN BE FUN ON ITS OWN WITHOUT IT BEING EDUCATIONAL!!!! But maybe I'm crazy.
Next game won't be a typing game. So yeah, no sequels trying to capitalise on freeware release. But I'll try and refine my formula and see if I can get my TYPING IS FUN message accross. :p BECAUSE IT IS!

Thanks also, sonicron, for reminding me to use the search feature.... :o Well, I figured you did. You just had to get the search terms correct. :)

Yeah "Type Striker" wasnt getting me anything. "Typing" didnt work, nor did "type" - the obvious "TypeStriker" was still elusive to my mind. I ended up finding it by going "typing game" - heh. those searches.... :)
