Fraudulent first / second sale ?

Hi everyone,

I was reading an old post regarding someone's first sale (which turns out to be fraudulent) and I suddenly wonder how many of you guys got a fraudulent first/second order?

We released our game a few months ago and it turns out that our first sale was fraudulent and plimus charged us with a nasty chargeback processing fee of $15.

If fraudulent first/second sale is a quite common case, then maybe everyone should be extra careful for your first order everytime you release a new game?

This sounds very interesting, but I don't think I understand what you're saying (I'm not a native speaker) - could you explain the issue a bit or link to a site that does?

He said that his first sale was fraudulent (from someone with a stolen credit card) and he want to know if someone else had it too.

I'm not a natural speaker too so maybe you would understand me :D

I haven't had any (plimus does a good job about) but a lot of strange things, like people asking for my phone number to send me checks to buy a couple of games (although I only have one)
I can't realize why they want my phone number, if someone can explain me why ...
