Hey folks,

We're having another indie meetup. This time it'll be in Schaumburg on Halloween (Sunday, October 31st).

We'll have it at the Starbucks located near the "Streets of Woodfield"
http://www.starbucks.com/retail/locator/MapResults.aspx?a=1&StoreKey=4757&IC_O=42.0071694522904%3a-88.0003348513627%3a32%3a60007%2c+Illinois%2c+Unite d+States&GAD1_O=&GAD2_O=&GAD3_O=60007%2c+Illinois%2c+United+States&GAD4_O=&radius=5&countryID=244&dataSource=MapPoint.NA

We'll be in the Conference Booth (separated by curtains) at the Starbucks.

We'll have cool project updates and demos...and talk about marketing.

Thanks again to the folks that showed up last time. We all enjoyed seeing the games in progress.

Take care,

I might not be able to make it to this one. My car just died on me today and I'm not sure when I can get it fixed. Thankfully(?), I just got laid off on Friday, so I only need to find a way to get to my classes all week, and I can use the bus system for that.

It's a gift.

You should ask my friends how much they love my not having a cell phone and never getting on AIM and never checking messages on my parents' phone. I just assume if it's not important enough for them to drive over here and throw rocks at my window until they get my attention, then they don't really need to talk to me.

So far it's worked out pretty well. For me, anyway.

LOL You know what I just noticed about this thread? The title has new and free in it.

Maybe if it was "New! Free! Chicago Indie Game Dev Meeting" it would work better. Those exclamation points should do the trick.

Anyway, I'm going to be out of town Nov 28th, which is when I assume the meeting for this month is going to be.
