This is Captain Vimes, and I've just finished setting up a networking site -- Legion of Literacy (http://legionofliteracy.com). It’s a site that revolves around, as one member has said, "[putting] together groups of clueful newbies, who've got realistic expectations and reasonable awareness of their own skills, to finish projects."

Since it revolves around more freeware and casual projects, it’d be a good way for new people (as I don’t suppose many of the more accomplished veterans at IndieGamer would have use of the community system) to try their hand at getting something done. All that's really needed is a rollickin' community - that's why I'm posting it here!

Discussion on how to better advertise, as well as the goal of the project itself (I know it seems like a long shot, but trying can't hurt) can go here as well!
