Yes but will it increase my sales?

I mean how many of these contacts will simply look at the mail and throw it without opening it?

I would like to see some traffic to my site and for people to at least download my demo, have you got an average hit rate for these press release type services?

Darren.

Ps nice offer.

Hi Jack,

Thanks for your question!

User group is a kind of community uniting people who live in one and the same area and are interested in comsumer software and computer games. As they live close to each other they can meet offline once or twice a month and discuss news, make presentation and share experience they get while meeting with their families and friends.

User group representatives are eager to receive a discount offer or a free registration as a door prize etc. It usually works really good. They like to invite you as a developer of the game to visit their meeting if they like your game.

So user groups are potential end users of your game:)

Ps nice offer.

If you do press releases regularly, it will increase your sales, for sure. In our company we make games too (RainbowWeb for example) and press releases help a lot.

Unfortunately, it does happen that some editors simply delete your press release not having looked at it but 3-5 requests is an average response after first mailing. The response depends on many things though:

1. the quality of the game
2. publicity
3. the quality of the text
etc.
