I posted some statistics of a website www.bravekidgames.com here http://itmmetelko.com/blog/?p=26

Maybe it can be interesting to some of you... I also posted them twice way back so you can compare a little.

best regards,
Janko M.

Nice daily uniques. Is this due to Google adSense? Also I wonder what does TLA mean in your advertisement budget.

BTW 'advertisement' is not correctly written at your blog.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, the hit and download stats are worthless if they were affected by pirates. :(

uh... thanks for replying Oliver and soniCron.... I see my stats are unclear here and there so I will add/change some texts to decrease the confusion.

I am getting aprox $100 per month from advertising not spend :)

Unfortunately, the hit and download stats are worthless if they were affected by pirates.

Pirate site that I mentioned at Kubi referrer offers link directly to download Kubi, as do any other pirate sites I have seen. I haven't seen any links from pirate sites to any other games on our website. And that number of referers is specifically for kubi. I will post other referers too but riht now I am having some problems with the server so I can't get them right now.

ok so referer stats for september are:
direct reqest --> 164807
that pirate portal(hotlink to kubi) --> 1565
google.com --> 1125
...

So you see there are 100x more direct requests (I don't get it how is that btw) than from second referer which is that pirate site.

Hi , With the kind of traffic that you received ( about the same as mine ), I believe you should be able to get much more from adsense profit by optimizing the position and the type of ads that you put on the page.

Nexis optimized his website very well (definitely better than i do ) and has seen major jump on adsense profit. :D

Just so you know, your Plimus Garden Golf links aren't working.

A few direct requests are done by people going to your website using their bookmark.
But around 99.9% of direct requests are done by the user browsers when asking for pictures and other possible sub-elements of your pages...

escapee... how do you optimise it for adsense? How much are you getting if it's not a secret of course?

Chris thanks for telling... I gues Emmanuel removed it from plimus or something.. too bad.

Manu ...Well I know why I get a lot of direct request partially. If you look at the stats you see 900 uniques / day (that is from statCounter who doesn't count those who hotlink my files) but you also see ONLY 1516 pages which means in average people that visit BKG click on less than two pages. This is because around 70% of visitors come from clicking on some flash games that I made each day and they have no referer (that's why it is direct request) and as I observed this flash clickers differ much from people that browse from google or otherwhere. When I had 200 visitors my page ratio was much higher.

And another interesting thing about flash clickers... when Ladybus became posted on a lot of portals at the same time in biggest peak BKG got 100x more visitors than before but adsense revenue was just 2-3 times bigger than normal,
