'eh? We do gossip now?

Please excuse me for being ignorant, but what exactly am I supposed to get out of this?

Maybe, I shouldn't have posted it at all. There was some talk a while back about the different options for 2D games. I would say this speaks to the level of support you can expext. Perhaps your disagree, but I can't see how it is gossip?

Probably should have kept this out of the forum so I'm going to pull the message.

Thanks

Gossip in the "he said, she said" sense. Twas meant as a bit of a joke, but meh. ;)

Sure, perhaps his tone was a tad harsh. But the fundamentals of what he was saying (without knowing more about the discussion), professionally speaking, it's not safe to bet on a feature to appear in a tool durring the development cycle of a project. You take what it can do, and make the most of it. Or if it can't do what you need, you take something else.

Now if Blitz/Max were fundamentally flawed, I could totally understand, but the Retro64 portfolio leads me to believe it's totally usable. Again, you'll have to excuse my ignorance of the whole blitz platform. All I really know is one of the Blitz products doesn't support Mac.

Pov,

I don't really want to have a Blitz discussion here, thats why I removed the post. Max is 2D language that is cross platform, I don't think the rest of them are cross platform. Lets just say that I don't plan to use the language after this project.

Thanks

PS: You spelled Canada wrong in your Sig.

PS: You spelled Canada wrong in your Sig. Americans from America, Canadians from Canadia. ;)

Yes, as Sonicron pointed out it's a political thang.

...

Alright, actually it's just a goofy joke introduced to me by my Americanese brethren, that I've deciced to call my own. Why be merely from Canada when you can be from Canadia.
