I was just wondering... can anyone recommend a good web developer? I need someone who has experience with MySQL, PHP, and content management systems to help me overhaul my site.

Danimal did a nice job on that PHP Indie game site that he put up recently.

Is it allowed to recommend oneself :) . I am php developer and I believe I am quite good after all the years. I will have time for new projects in 1 to 2 months if you can wait.

for reference right now I am making a huge elearning portal which will be (is being) used in slovenian secondary schools and also big and interesting trade-portal (b2b), and online/offline cad application for some compressed air pipes company.

I am from slovenia and I charge around $12/h ussually which is probably cheap for USA.

As jankoM, I recommend myself. I've been into PHP web development like 5 years, so I'm quite confident I can do the job. So in case you need someone experienced in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, etc. contact me at manuelfl at funmangames dot com. As of a portfolio, most of the stuff I've done are intranet sites, so they're not online, but I can show you some of them if you're interested. Thanks :)

We hired a great developer for boomzap.com, and we couldn't have been happier with his work and his style. He charges reasonable rates, but he's not free. But you get what you pay for. Check out our site to see his work (www.boomzap.com) or his portfolio site for his contact info, etc. http://danp.us/portfolio/webdesign

One of our best contractors ever.
