My curiosity's got the better of me. How many people here live in Spain?

You know - if there were more of us here, or we were closer together, I was going to suggest a meet-up. I guess we'll just have to try to turn more people like us to the dark side...

AFAIK there's more Spaniards that hang around these forums. And as far as a meeting is concerned, we do one every year the weekend artFutura (http://www.artfutura.org/) is done (in Barcelona). Last year there were like 20 people, not bad.

@moco:
1- You should change your user name ;)
2- You should visit the forums at stratos (http://www.stratos-ad.com/forums3/index.php). They are the equivalent of indiegamer for spanish people (at least for the moment).

Thanks for the link.

PS I know 'moco' means 'snot' in Spanish, I rather liked it :)

This meeting in Barcelona sounds like it could be interesting. What's the plan?

Well, basically we meet at the morning (both on Saturday and on Sunday, although there's more people on Sunday) around 10 am, and we go take some coffee while we talk and meet each other (those who are first timers). Then we go to the artFutura center to listen to some conference or talk, later discuss it, keep talking, go have lunch and on Sunday evening (around 7 pm) there's the artFutura awards ceremony. Those are awards for amateur and student projects, not commercial ones, so one can see some interesting stuff in there.

You can see some of this year's entries here (http://www.stratos-ad.com/forums3/viewtopic.php?t=7407). I hope to see you there!

Thanks, Manuel.

Looks like a hoot. I'll come along if I can!
