Wikis seem pretty cool, but is there a wiki, or a wiki like thing that is less geeky folks?

I kinda want to do a site where players contribute but in a more directed way than the free flowingness that wikis seem to have.

I'm kinda thinking that a lot of my players wouldn't really know or want to learn how to use a wiki. I'm sure I could get a few hardcore fans to understand WikiLinks, and formating, but I doubt the masses would want to learn :/

I have set up a wiki for the users of my game. I started it by making a front page that gives the basics of how a wiki works along with a skeleton of what I thought some good content would be. I would say that most of it was written by a 'core' group of 5-10 users, but I am fine with that. It works out well giving your most enthusiastic fans a place to play. And the other players can still read it and add a thing or two if they want.

Of course it's not perfect. I don't have a login required on the wiki, so there has been a little war or two of users repeatedly changing content. I have it set up to automatically back up every few days, which is definitely a must if the wiki is wide open.

You can take a look at the SillyWiki here: http://sillysoft.net/wiki/

I also have a forum for users, which lets them talk to each other in a more back and forth manner.
