Game Appraisal Service?

I'd like to get a 3rd party evaluation of some of my game prototypes, etc, and I was wondering if there is such a service available?

I have no idea, depends on the experience level and accuracy of the appraisal???

Just an honest evaluation of the product, market potential, sales potential, etc. Nothing like "this level needs this or that", just an honest assestment from someone who's in the biz. ;)

Submit it here, you can sort the wheat from the chaff yourself. Put it in front of your friends so you can watch what new users do first hand (don't answer their questions, just watch what happens). When you think you have something then start to submit to portals. If it's good, they'll take it.

Unless you're thinking of having your game evaluated by a team of psychologists, sociologists, game theorists, and lawyers, in order to cover all your bases, why bother? Just release a beta and listen to the feedback. No one can tell you what makes a game fun better than gamers themselves.
