Hi all. I'm an experienced freelance Sound Designer / Composer currently looking to work on a new independant game so if you like the sound of my portfolio get in touch! I normally charge $1 per sound be it a small blip or large explosion, but I'm willing to work for free on more interesting projects (not car games).

If you're looking for someone who will put that little bit extra into your game then you've found the right place. I have a keen eye for quality and design as well as all the neccessary apperatus to record and produce great sounding audio. Check out the endorsements on my site if you don't believe me!

Hope to hear from you soon,
Chris Cooper

Just a quick question, you made me curious, why no car games? :D

Hey, you used to post over at Music4Games, right? Has your stuff gotten a lot better since then? We lost a lot of regular posters when we switched to the new forum software.

Anyway...Fun tunes!

Nah, not really. I've nothing against car games, but from an audio point of view I imagine it's very difficult to get the engine sound just right without extensive collaboration with a programming team, unless of course some sort of implementation tool was provided from which I could work alone, but that's rarely the case with small independant games, isn't it?

Hey AnthemAudio, yeah I did post there for a while, great site for swapping ideas and suggestions. As for my work... you can be the judge of whether or not it's got better but I believe it generally does with each project undertake. I find I've moved more into the realm of Sound Design now, which I really enjoy, but I still love to write music when I get the chance.

Oh, I forgot to mention the standard rate for my music too! $5 per minute seems reasonable but that's open for negotiation.
