I was wondering how you use feedbacks and reviews on games.
The matter is : recently our game Jungle Heart (http://www.elephant-games.com/games/jungleheart)has got a 4.5 rating on Macworld. It's a real honour for us and we're very proud. But it doesn't anyhow reflected on sales of the game. Could you think of any reasons?
What are the most effective ways to use such feedbacks and reviews?

Many thanks,
Natalie

This case look like ReZ and other games case.
What you should learn, IMOadvice, is that your game as itself is good, but don't touch the target (the players who do care).
Maybe with more reviews on your game you could learn more...

Heh, seems kind of ironic, given the name of your company. One of the definitions of a "white elephant" is "slang for property or a business that is so costly to maintain or operate that it is impossible to make a profit." :D

If your game is getting good reviews, you should definitely feature this as a selling point.

Has your MacWorld review been in the actual magazine yet, or just online? For aquadot!red, the online review didn't spawn a noticible increase in sales, but when the magazine came out a few months later my sales tripled for about a month and a half.

BTW, the online review only lists your score as 3.5 mice, but it is a positive review so it should generate sales, I would think.

Thanks to you all for your advice!
Klaim, do you mean that the trouble is with the game description and the text in it? Should we address it to kids or to the parents?

Bignobody, a nice idea, thanks:) Will thought it over.

Radiance, the magazine (print version) came out about 2 weeks ago.
The rating there is 4.5 (while even The Sims 2 Nightlife has 4.) But the sales have hardly increased. I wouldn't say they are small, but I expected more..
I thought, may be we should give this great rating some higher exposure? What do you think?

Test it and you'll know. Should not be a lot of work. Sometimes one headline changes everything.

all the best

I'm not a specialist so i'm not sure where is the problem. But in this game case you should appeal both.
