Sorry if this is mentioned somewhere else already, but Slashdot has posted a review of our very own Joe Lieberman's book on Indie video game marketing. Worth a read, though the subsequent posts are idiotic, as they usually are on Slashdot.

How many sales has this generated Joe?

Ugh, those Slashdot comments are so idiotic. Everybody has to jump in and say some nonsensical snotty thing quickly in hopes of getting a karma point.
Congrats to Joe on getting slashdotted. Hopefully there are a few people there that will buy his book in response.

So true... Slashdot has the worst signal-to-noise ration of any forums I've ever seen. Even Ben's Bargains threads offer better reading, and 80% of those posts are just recycled jokes about the next poster's mother.

I made a comment on this fact on my blog: http://vgsmart.blogspot.com
According to the stats I have seen about 20 sales since this went live (about 3 days?). This is up from about 1-2 a day.
Schweet... Total sales are now up to $2,500 profit of my $6,000 goal. Slow and steady wins the race.
Thanks for the post! If you purchased the book (and like it) say something nice on the stupid slashdot thread... you never know who will read it :)

I purchased your book because of your great reputation and how you replied to a few questions I sent you. The book was great with lots of good useful stuff in it--well worth the investment (mine's all marked up). I left a nice remark on slashdot.
Thanks for your good work in helping out the indie scene!

Any plans on making a UK version available? I dont feel so comfortable using cafepress from the US.
There's a really good book publishing site that covers all of Europe, aaaand, I can't remember the name of it.
...so that was unhelpful :(
They're loads cheaper than CafePress too...

I bought the book and I think it was well worth the money. I liked the fact you supplied a pdf, because honestly shipping costs to my part of the world are pretty freeking expensive.
