I'm making an adult game (featuring full female nudity) and I hoping one of you will know of a payment processor which is similar to something like Plimus (i.e. a full, ready to use system, with easy customisation of the order page and with which customers can receive an email with download link to the full version after payment). Of course the processor must allow for pornographic games.
Many thanks.

There was some "porno" chess game a while back mentioned here. I don't know the name but maybe you can find it and see througth whom they are selling.

Most adult websites use Ibill. Whoever LoveChess uses must allow it also... I can't imagine too many payment processors CARE what the content is- but I have never honestly looked.
Also you can check and see what Pinup Strip Poker uses.

A quick google revelead that this game seems to use bmtmicro.
It also revealed that "love chess" seems to be as erotic as lego figures ;)

my lego figures weren't so anatomically correct 1 (http://www.lovechess.nl/games/archives/screenshots/sex_position4.jpg) 2 (http://www.lovechess.nl/games/archives/screenshots/black.jpg) - are you sure you had lego *for kids* variant? ;)

Well, they might posses some features the lego figures didn*'t - but they both have the same erotic flair: none.

LoveChess does indeed use BMT Micro. We handled the submission and it stuck in my mind.
I'm not sure that Plimus will object, to be honest. I do know that RegNow are a huge pain in the butt about these things, even kicking me off because of Anime Bowling Babes ( oh, puhleeze ) but Plimus have never asked me anything about the game, so I'm not sure they'd care.

Hey guys, thanks for all your insight and help.
I've emailed BMT Micro to just double check as I guess Love Chess might be a borderline case. Pinup Strip Poker uses a place called element5 (based in Germany but with both an English and German website). Has anybody used this processor before?
My recent emails to both Plimus and esellerate have revealed that both do not allow adult content.
Are there any others that do (or indeed don't)?
Mochek go to http://www.gofuckyourself.com you may get more help there, as it is a forum for adult webmasters and business people ... who would probably know of more processors you get use

Are you sure that esellerate doesn't allow adult content? I looked at their catalog and found plenty of adult titles... (won't post links here).

Element5 is also the company behind Share-It, a very reputable payment processor. Now they are both owned by Digital River (like the majority of payment processors these days).

With Plimus I actually found it in their terms and conditions, but if they turn a blind eye then I guess that is cool.
As for esellerate, I emailed them directly to be certain and received this reply.
"Thank you for your interest in eSellerate. Unfortunately, we do not sell adult content within our system. I apologize for the inconvenience."
elements5 also replied today (Saturday) which I find very impressive but again it was similar to esellerate's reply
"Unfortunately we do not support pornographic content. Due to this reason we are not able to submit you a proposal
for our hosted ecommerce solution."
It appears to me that if you ask then some will turn you down, if you just do then maybe a few may slip through the net?
Thanks for the adult industry link, I'll have a dig around there too!

Perhaps there's a business opportunity there.

Think processors are sensitive to the issue as it can cause them headaches from the nanny state types who go after sites with adult content from every angle they can. Some processors are basically bullet proof in that respect as they've dealt with it all before. That's why you see a lot of adult sites using certain processors. Not sure but I suspect the common processors people use here would not be to open to purely adult content.

I've read that adult website payment processors deal with a tremendous amount of chargebacks and fraud. That's probably one reason payment processors avoid adult products.

Hoorah! BMT Micro do allow adult content. They also tell me that they monitor the fraud rate, so if there are too many frauds (as a percentage) then they will remove the product.

Alright BMT, so ArcadeTown is now going to go 100% porn (http://forums.indiegamer.com/showthread.php?t=6643) as that's where the real money is right?! JK folks, and no a Wild Topless Volleyball Chickz game won't get on so don't even try, allthough it would make myself and our review team very happy
