(it's safe to move this thread where it should belong...)
I wanted to bring a new twist to this forum and may be even give an idea for a new section which should definately make the forum more "alive" and not just plain Q&A.

I spent some time on russian forum called Mobile Game Developers Community (http://www.mgdc.ru/board/), a community which is quite similar to what we have here, but related to mobile platofrms. We have a forum there to post latest game screenshots, game reviews, etc. This is done mostly by fellow members, moderators and administrators. They tend to bring the most interesting news about new games (http://www.mgdc.ru/board/forumdisplay.php?f=17), as well as describe some nice sites and persons.

I just wanted to mention the story of the guy, who I really adore.

Henk Nieborg

Well, he's been into some projects which nobody even probably heard about...
Recently he did graphics for Harry Potter and Atlantis, but that's not his "adorable part".

The thing I'm talking about is Lomax.

Check screenshots, animations, original gfx, etc...

The fact is that the game was done by TWO people.
Henk did the game design and ALL THE GRAPHICS himself.

Whatever, if you really want to get into his story -- check the site, get the games and you will understand what I mean.

His input into is enormous, check him out.

He's quite famous in the pixel-art community. I think probably one of the best artist around :)

You can't tell if a game artist is any good until you see the stuff moving....

And in this case, the screenshots look nice - but the animation looks very nice.

He's good alright.

A little too good.

I better kidnap him and force him to work for me in my plot to take over the world.

Bwahahahaha.

Sorry, been playing Evil Genius a little too much :-P

Nick has seriously worked hard to get his art to the level it is now. Harry Potter looks great on the GBA and he really did a fantastic job.
