Speed test please

Hello,
was wondering if any of you with good internet connection could do a quick speed test :) also if anyone know of such a service online (enter a url and check the download speed from various places in the world without having to ask other people) tell me please!
The fact is that my old normal hosting seems as fast (or in some cases even faster) than my new VPS I got... so was wondering if was worth to keep the VPS! (since the old normal hosting is even free because is a friend of mine).

As test files you can check the latest beta version of a game I did last year (Supernova), if you want to give feedback about the game is welcome (of course is not necessary).

From Vancouver, Canada, I get:

VPS: 109kb/s
Normal: 180kb/s

I get similar numbers to Ryan but in my case the VPS is the fastest.

For me, the VPS started at 260k/s (my maximum) and stayed there for the whole download. The normal host though started at 260k/s and started dropping, before hovering around the 195k/s rate till completion.

VPS: Start ~ 350 dropped to ~ 250 time ~ 20 seconds
Normal: Start ~ 330 dropped to ~ 170 time ~ 30 seconds

Hardly scientific but for me the VPS was faster.

Both stuck to 320 KB/sec from the Netherlands. This is the limit of my connection.

Thanks for the tests... so from UK is faster the VPS, I'll have to take into consideration that.
Even if I was thinking... what's so important for 10s of difference? even ryan clark which has the biggest difference in term of speed, I bet barely noticed the difference in time :o

Darn so from USA/Canada the VPS is really slow... :(
